NORTHFIELD, Minn. -
Robert Tobroxen had 24 points, six assists and six rebounds as St. Olaf won its seventh in a row with a 75-62 home victory over No. 4 Saint John's in a MIAC men's basketball game on Saturday at Bob Gelle Court.
The Oles (16-5, 12-4 MIAC) led wire-to-wire and by as many as 18 in the second half. St. Olaf had 10 points from
Troy Diggins Jr. and eight each from
Austin Korba and
Sam Stensgard.
Saint John's was paced by Tyler Weiss and Patrick Strom, who had 13 points each.
St. Olaf shot 58.5 percent from the floor, including 66.7 percent (16-of-24) in the second half.
It was the first league loss for SJU (18-2, 14-1 MIAC), which shot 41.8 percent from the floor.
It was the Oles' first win over a top-10 opponent since defeating No. 7 Stevens Point on Nov. 19, 2014.
