COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Guy Mohs scored in the 102nd minute to give Saint John's University a 1-0 double-overtime victory over the St. Olaf College men's soccer team in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) contest Saturday evening at Haws Field.
Despite Saint John's (5-0-1, 2-0-0 MIAC) recording 26 shots and 11 shots on goal, St. Olaf (3-5-0, 2-1-0 MIAC) and senior goalkeeper
Ben Westermeyer were able to hold the Johnnies scoreless until Mohs' game-winner early in the second overtime. Westermeyer posted a season-high nine saves in the contest.
Just 1:21 into the second overtime period, Mohs controlled a pass into the box from the right side from Gabriel Leon and volleyed the ball into the right side of the net for the lone goal of the game.

Grant Marolf registered the lone shot on goal for the Oles in the contest, while sophomore
Thierno Gueye and sophomore
Olaf Morkeberg both tallied two shots in the game.
St. Olaf is back to action in St. Peter, Minn. on Tuesday, September 25, to take on Gustavus Adolphus in a MIAC contest at 4 p.m.
