EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The St. Olaf College men's tennis team fell to the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, 9-0, in a non-conference match Friday evening at Menard YMCA Tennis Center.
UW-Eau Claire (3-0) lost just five games in the doubles sweep against the Oles (0-1).
The No. 4 singles match was the closest of the day as
Gus Fedje-Johnston fell to the Blugolds' Matt Christensen, 6-3, 6-2.
This was St. Olaf's first match of the spring season, while UW-Eau Claire played its third.
The Oles return to action on Saturday, Feb. 16, against MIAC opponent, Hamline, at Owatonna Tennis Center beginning at 1:30 p.m.
