COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Fifth-ranked Saint John's University recorded its third-straight shutout by blanking the St. Olaf College football team, 56-0, on Saturday afternoon at Clemens Stadium.
Running back Henry Trost rushed for three touchdowns in the win for Saint John's (6-0, 4-0 MIAC), which got a combined five touchdown passes from Aaron Syverson and Chris Backes to stay undefeated. The Johnnies' defense forced five turnovers and held the Oles to 1-for-11 on third down.

The Saint John's defense limited St. Olaf to 28 yards of offense in the opening half as the hosts led, 35-0, at the break.
