ST. PAUL, Minn. – Senior
Paige Woldt won the triple jump as four members of the St. Olaf College women's track and field team competed at the Tomcat Twilight on Friday afternoon at O'Shaughnessy Stadium.
Woldt out-jumped 10 other competitors in the triple jump, winning the event with a mark of 11.14 meters (36' 6 ¾"). It was the fourth time in as many meets this season that the senior won the triple jump.
First year
Aleah Keske competed in the shot put and discus throw, finishing third in the discus (38.74m, 127' 1") and fourth in the shot put (11.89m, 30' 7 ½").
Sophomore
Rebekah Salfer placed fifth in the long jump (4.94m, 16' 2 ½"), eighth in the javelin throw (23.62m, 77' 6"), ninth in the 200-meter dash (27.92), and 12th in the shot put (9.57m, 31' 4 ¾").
Sophomore
Teresa Pettitt-Kenney was in action in the 400-meter dash and the pole vault, taking fifth with a personal-best time of 1:01.68 in the 400 and sixth in the pole vault (2.92m, 9' 7").
St. Olaf is in action at the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational on Saturday, May 1. Field events start at 9 a.m. and track events are slated for 11 a.m. at Macalester Stadium in St. Paul.
