NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The St. Olaf College Athletic Department will celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) with an event during its home women's basketball and women's hockey games on Saturday, Feb. 4.

National Girls & Women in Sports Day is an annual celebration led by the Women's Sports Foundation (WSF) and St. Olaf Athletics is inviting youth and their families to attend either or both of its home women's sporting events on Saturday. St. Olaf takes on Augsburg University in women's basketball at 3 p.m. at Skoglund Center, while the Oles face St. Catherine University in women's hockey at St. Olaf Ice Arena also located inside Skoglund Center - at the same time. All youth are admitted free to both games.

In addition to watching the games, there will be free pizza, giveaways, a photo booth with St. Olaf female student-athletes, and a poster signing with Ole female student-athletes after the games.
