ST. PAUL, Minn. – The St. Olaf College women's track and field team got individual all-conference performances from senior
Annika Muller and first year
Grace Moeller on the final day of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday at the Leonard Center.
Muller logged a runner-up finish in the long jump and Moeller was third in the 1,000-meter run for St. Olaf, as the Oles recorded their second-straight fourth-place team finish at the indoor conference meet. St. Olaf held off the College of Saint Benedict by half a point with 99.5 points to place fourth, trailing Bethel University (144), Carleton College (140.5), and Gustavus Adolphus College (114) in the team standings.
After placing third in the triple jump the day before, Muller did one spot better in the long jump, finishing as the runner-up with a mark of 5.34 meters (17' 6 ¼") on her second jump. The senior earned the fifth All-MIAC accolade of her standout career and collected two all-conference honors at the same conference meet for the first time.
Moeller picked up her first All-MIAC honor in track and field by placing third in the 1,000-meter run in 3:02.65, leading three Oles who scored in the event. Sophomore
Sophie Abernethy posted her second fifth-place honorable mention finish in as many days in 3:07.05, while first year
Ella Landis also scored in eighth (3:12.48).
St. Olaf also had three scorers in the 3,000-meter run, including Honorable All-MIAC performances from sophomores
Sofia Carlson and
Alison Bode. After placing fourth and fifth in the 5,000-meter run on Saturday, Carlson and Bode were fifth and sixth, respectively, in the 3,000-meter run. Carlson was fifth (10:08.73), followed by Bode in sixth (10:15.36), as both runners improved on their finishes from last season. Bode's converted time of 17:05.35 ranks in the top 20 in the country this season. First year
Lauren Walda was the third Ole to score in the event in eighth (10:25.20).

Emma Storbakken claimed All-MIAC honors in the 4x200-meter relay with a third-place performance (1:48.53) while breaking onto St. Olaf's all-time top-10 list in the event in 10th. Kroschel, junior

Abbie Manhard, and Storbakken landed honorable mention laurels with a fourth-place showing in the 4x400-meter relay (4:13.42).
St. Olaf will send a contingent of student-athletes to the Wartburg Last Chance Qualifier on Saturday, March 4 in Waverly, Iowa.
