BOCA RATON, Fla. – Facing nationally-ranked NCAA Division II opposition, the St. Olaf College men's tennis team fell 7-0 to No. 23-ranked Lynn University on Friday afternoon at Perper Tennis Complex.
Lynn (9-4) dropped just two games in doubles and 10 in singles on its way to defeating St. Olaf (4-7) in the first-ever meeting between the two programs. The Fighting Knights were ranked No. 23 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) this week.

Bogdan Vizoli accounted for both games the Oles won in doubles in a 6-2 loss at the top spot, as Lynn claimed the doubles point in the match played under the NCAA Division II scoring format.
In singles, Smith won two games in each set of his match at No. 2 singles, while Vizoli, junior
Jakub Belik, and sophomore
David Azcona won two games in their singles matches.
The Oles face another nationally-ranked NCAA Division II program on Saturday, March 25 when they take on No. 33-ranked Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
