DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The St. Olaf College men's and women's tennis teams were both defeated 7-0 by nationally-ranked NCAA Division II foe Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on Saturday at Crotty Tennis Complex.
The St. Olaf women (5-4) got a victory from sophomore
Olha Zubarieva and senior
Allie Prokosch at No. 1 doubles against No. 31-ranked Embry-Riddle (8-5) for the lone match win of the day for the Oles. Senior
Henry Smith and first year
Bogdan Vizoli hung with a nationally-ranked tandem from No. 33-ranked Embry-Riddle (10-7).

Zubarieva and Prokosch ran their winning streak to eight matches and improved to 8-1 in dual matches this season with a 6-2 victory at No. 1 doubles for St. Olaf. Embry-Riddle won the other two doubles matches to claim the doubles point and went on to win all six singles matches in straight sets.
In singles, Prokosch and Zubarieva both won four games in their games at the top-two spots. The St. Olaf women take on NAIA opponent Southeastern University on Tuesday, March 28 at 11 a.m. CDT.
