Bethel responded by hitting a blistering .407 with just one attack error in the second set to even the match at a set apiece. The Royals used runs of 5-0 and 8-0 to blow the set open at 18-9 and didn't look back the rest of the way.
In the third, St. Olaf started the set on a 10-0 run on Ryan's serve, as the sophomore delivered a pair of early aces to swing the momentum back to the Oles.
