MANKATO, Minn. – Three members of the St. Olaf College women's track and field team posted top-15 national times/marks at the Bearson/Gathje Classic on Friday at Myers Field House on the campus of Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Isabel Wyatt, and sophomore
Ashlyn Jore accounted for the three top-15 national performances for St. Olaf, which recorded five top-five showings with a limited number of student-athletes competing in the meet. The Oles accumulated 38 points in the team standings to finish fourth of five teams, trailing three NCAA Division II programs.
Walda eclipsed her previously personal-best time in the 3,000-meter run by over five seconds with a first-place time of 10:20.16, winning the event by over 15 seconds. The sophomore's converted time of 10:14.89 ranks 12th in NCAA Division III this indoor season. Senior
Bella Call placed fourth in the event in 10:38.07.
Wyatt trailed three NCAA Division II competitors with a fourth-place performance in the 800-meter run (2:21.03). The sophomore's converted time of 2:19.43 stands 10th nationally thus far. Senior
Riki Poore added another top-five finish on the track for St. Olaf with a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter run (1:03.46).
After breaking onto St. Olaf's all-time top-10 list in the event in her first collegiate meet back on Dec. 2, Jore bettered that fourth-place mark in program history with a jump of 5.43 meters (17' 9 ¾") to finish fifth in the long jump. The mark ranks 15th in the country overall.
The Oles compete at home each of the next two weekends, beginning with the Ole Opener on Saturday, Jan. 20.
