Moeller and Wyatt earn All-MIAC honors, Oles tie for fourth at MIAC Indoor Championships

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Sophomores Isabel Wyatt and Grace Moeller recorded all-conference performances as the St. Olaf College women's track and field team closed out the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships in a tie for fourth on Saturday at Tostrud Center.

Wyatt was third in the 600-meter run and Moeller took third in the 1,000-meter run for St. Olaf's two All-MIAC finishes on the final day of the meet. The Oles earned 101 points over the course of the meet to finish in a tie for fourth with Carleton College, trailing Bethel University (158), the College of Saint Benedict (120), and Gustavus Adolphus College (109.50) in the 11-team standings.

Wyatt picked up the first All-MIAC accolade of her career with a third-place time of 1:37.23 in the 600-meter run. The time was also a personal best for the sophomore. Moeller finished third in the 1,000-meter run for the second season in a row by clocking in at 3:04.97.

St. Olaf had eight Honorable Mention All-MIAC results as well. Senior Sophie Call and first year Siri Erickson gave the Oles three of the top five in the 1,000-meter run by finishing fourth (3:05.08) and fifth (3:05.23), respectively. Sophomore Lauren Walda posted a fifth-place finish in the 3,000-meter run in 10:06.84, which sits sixth on St. Olaf's all-time list.

The Oles had two honorable-mention showings in the relays, led by a fourth-place result from senior Ruth Pfeiffer, senior Karla Kroschel, senior Riki Poore, and Wyatt in the 4x400-meter relay (4:06.81). Junior Emma Storbakken, Poore, junior Zoe Matre, and senior Ququ Holman were fifth in the 4x200-meter relay (1:48.22) with the 10th-fastest time on St. Olaf's all-time list.

Kroschel added a fifth-place performance in the 200-meter dash (26.50), while senior Ainslee Parker jumped to a fifth-place finish in the triple jump (10.73m, 35' 2 ½"). Senior Melanie Roberts wound up in a tie for sixth in the pole vault after clearing 3.00 meters (9' 10").

St. Olaf will send a group of competitors to the Wartburg Final Qualifier on Saturday, March 2.
