Aries Mendez won individual events for the St. Olaf College women's track and field team at the unscored Carleton Relays on Saturday at Laird Stadium.
Kroschel won the 200-meter dash (26.51), Larson was first in the high jump (1.50m, 4' 11"), Roberts took first in the triple jump (9.67m, 31' 8 ¾"), and Mendez had the top throw of the day in the discus throw (37.53m, 123' 1") for St. Olaf. No team scores were kept at the meet, which included Bethany Lutheran College, Carleton College, Crown College, the University of Minnesota-Morris, and St. Catherine University.
As a team, St. Olaf had five first-place performances and 13 runner-up showings at the meet. In addition to the four first-place finishes in individual events, St. Olaf's 4x100-meter relay of Kroschel, junior

Riki Poore posted the winning time of 51.07 seconds.
Mendez's win in the discus throw led a 1-2-3-4-5 finish for St. Olaf in the event. First year
Graycee Roubinek was the runner-up to Mendez with a mark of 35.63 meters (116' 11"), followed by first year
Elise Harriman (35.32m, 115' 10"), first year
Otelia Lighthill (35.03m, 114' 11"), and senior
Peyton Irsfeld (33.14m, 108' 9").
Roubinek was also the second-place finisher in both the shot put (10.11m, 33' 2") and the javelin throw (30.50m, 100' 1") for the Oles, who had five top-two finishes in the throws on the day. Irsfeld bettered her own seventh-best throw in program history in the hammer throw with a second-place toss of 40.24 meters (132' 0").

Rebekah Salfer compiled runner-up finishes on the track. Wilson took second in the 400-meter dash (1:02.46), Erickson placed second in the 800-meter run (2:20.74), and Salfer crossed the line in second in the 100-meter hurdles (16.03). Erickson was also part of the Oles' second-place 4x400-meter relay (4:16.70) along with junior

Linnea Askegaard finished in a tie for second in the pole vault with identical performances, as both cleared 2.75 meters (9' ¼") on their first attempt before going out on 2.90 meters. Senior
Ainslee Parker added a second-place showing in the long jump (4.68m, 15' 4 ¼").
St. Olaf will head to the University of Minnesota for the Gary Wilson Invitational on Wednesday, April 24.
