Erica Johnson of the St. Olaf College women's swimming and diving team swept the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week accolades, as announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Following their performances in Saturday's MIAC dual victory over Hamline University, Homme collected her second MIAC Women's Swimmer of the Week accolade of the season, while Johnson earned her first MIAC Women's Diver of the Week honor. Homme was previously named the MIAC Women's Swimmer of the Week back on Nov. 19.
Homme won three individual events to lead St. Olaf to a 209-51 win on Saturday, winning the 50-yard freestyle (25.21), 100-yard backstroke (1:01.76), and 100-yard individual medley (1:02.79). Johnson posted the top scores of the day in both of the one-meter diving sessions, winning the first session by nearly 20 points with a score of 162.45 and the second by nearly 10 points with a total of 197.00.
The Oles will return to Skoglund Natatorium to host Macalester College on Senior Day on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m.
