LEXINGTON, Ky. – The St. Olaf College volleyball team extended its streak of American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Awards to double figures by landing the award for the 10th consecutive year, as announced on Monday.
In its first season under head coach
Alicia Wood, St. Olaf earned the AVCA Team Academic Award after recording a team grade-point average of 3.80 during the 2024-25 academic year. That mark also put St. Olaf on the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll for the first time, an honor given to programs that rank in the top 20 percent nationally by division academically.
To land the AVCA Team Academic Award, programs must maintain a year-long GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. This year, the AVCA honored 1,450 collegiate and high school volleyball teams with the accolade.
