KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The St. Olaf College men's soccer team returned to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Top 25 for the second time this season in the week 3 poll released on Tuesday afternoon.
St. Olaf (7-1-2) assumed its highest ranking of the season by checking in at No. 19 in Tuesday's balloting after back-to-back victories last week over regionally-ranked teams in Carleton College and Macalester College. The No. 19 ranking was three spots higher than the Oles' No. 22 ranking in the first poll of the regular season.
Head coach
Justin Oliver's team was one of three Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) programs in this week's balloting, along with third-ranked Augsburg University and Gustavus Adolphus College, which received votes nationally. The Oles also moved up to No. 2 in the Region IX Poll, trailing only the Auggies.
St. Olaf will travel to Duluth to face the College of St. Scholastica on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m.
