LEXINGTON, Ky. – The St. Olaf College volleyball team sat in the "others receiving votes" portion of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA)-Taraflex Division III Women's Volleyball Poll for the fifth poll in a row, as announced on Tuesday.
St. Olaf (19-7) collected 91 points in this week's balloting after a 2-1 week that included sweeps of UW-Superior and St. Catherine University and a four-set loss to the College of Saint Benedict. The poll came out before the Oles' loss at the No. 24-ranked University of Northwestern on Wednesday.
St. Olaf has appeared in the national balloting in 19 consecutive polls dating back to early last season.
The Oles will host Saint Mary's University at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30.
