BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. – The St. Olaf College men's golf team will compete at the 2026 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Men's Golf Championships Saturday through Monday, Oct. 10-12 at Edinburgh USA.
St. Olaf will head to the nine-team, three-day, 54-hole tournament looking to build off a fourth-place finish last season at the same course. In Saturday's opening round, St. Olaf's five players will tee off in nine-minute increments from 11:12 a.m. to 11:48 a.m. Tee times on Sunday and Monday will start at 10:27 a.m. and 9:33 a.m., with pairings depending on the previous day's scores.
Live scoring will be available throughout the tournament through Scoreboard powered by Clippd. Spectators are welcome to attend the event and must follow all
local and
spectator rules. No spectator carts will be available. The MIAC has a
championship page that will be updated with all relevant information throughout the event.
St. Olaf's five-player lineup will be made up of first year

Ike Vessey, senior
Jacob Brown, junior
Will Black, and first year
Evan Hovde. Vessey will be playing in the MIAC Championships for the fourth time in his career and has finished in the top 20 twice (18th in 2025, t-19th in 2023), while Black will do so for the third time. Black was also in the top 20 (t-19th) last year. Brown, Dusenbury, and Hovde will be competing in the conference championship for the first time.
The Oles will enter the MIAC Championships with their lowest team scoring average (303.3) since at least 2009-10 through five events (12 rounds) this season. Dusenbury leads St. Olaf with an average of 75.6 strokes per round, followed by Black (76.3), Brown (76.9), Hovde (77.1), and Vessey (77.7).
St. OIaf's scoring average of 303.3 ranks sixth in the conference heading into the weekend, roughly one stroke behind Carleton College and within three shots of two other programs. The Oles' fourth-place finish last season was their highest placement since 2011-12. St. Olaf has won the MIAC Men's Golf Championships eight times but not since 1982.
