Jude Hull made 31 saves and
Tuukka Totro netted the game-winner early in the second period as St. Olaf picked up a 2-1 MIAC men's hockey victory over sixth-ranked Augsburg College on Saturday night.
Totro's goal came on assists by
Drew Otto and
Steven Sherman at 0:55 of the second period. Jonas Fredericksson scored the other St. Olaf goal at 8:43 of the first.
Augsburg held a slight edge in shots, 32-24, and scored the game's only power-play goal. Lukas Gillett tied the game at 1-1 at 15:53 of the first period.
St. Olaf (3-8-1, 1-5-0 MIAC) is 3-4-1 in its last eight games after starting the season 0-4-0. The Oles will travel to Menomonie, Wis. for a non-conference game with UW-Stout next Saturday before a 27-day layoff for finals and the holiday break.
