ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Hamline Invitational served at the St. Olaf women's track and field team's first opportunity to compete outdoors in 2017 on Saturday afternoon.
The Oles had a trio of top-20 performances in the 200 meter dash with
Abby Stets,
Lillie Meakim, and Johanna Glaser finishing sixth (25.89), 13th (26.65), and 19th (26.99).
In the 5000,
Mary Naas led the Oles with a fourth place finish, running a time of 17:23.59. Â
Bryony Hawgood,
Jamie Hoornaert, and
Meredith Moore followed in 13th (18:18.31), 20th (18:36.98), and 25th (19:10.24).
Mackenzie Schoustra finished tenth in the 100 meter hurdles (15.74) and Margaret Anderson was sixth in the high jump, clearing 1.55 meters.
The Oles compete next at the Ashton May Invitational in La Crosse, Wis. on Saturday.
