PELLA, Iowa – Junior
Paige Woldt broke her own school record in the triple jump, as a small contingent from the St. Olaf College men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Dutch Holiday Preview at Kuyper Fieldhouse on Saturday.
Woldt posted a mark of 11.07 meters in the triple jump to break her previous mark of 10.99 meters set at last January's Carleton Triangular. The mark was good for first in the field and is tied for the 14th-best jump in NCAA Division III this season.
Woldt's first-place finish in the triple jump was one of four event wins for the St. Olaf women's team on the day. The Oles also had four performances that rank on the program's top-10 list.
Senior
Laura Kammer and Woldt finished 1-2 in the 60-meter hurdles, with both student-athletes posting marks that ranked in the top 10 in program history and top-50 marks in the country. Kammer won the event in 9.45 seconds, which ranks fifth in program history and tied for 28th in the country, with Woldt close behind in 9.52 seconds – a time that ranks sixth at St. Olaf and tied for 41st nationally.
The 4x400-meter relay team of
Ann Jansen,
Katie Elstad,
Mackenzie Schoustra and
Johanna Glaaser took first with a time of 4:07.60, which is the 12th-fastest time in NCAA Division III this season. Glaaser also logged an event win in the 600-meter run (1:38.10).
Sophomore
Annika Patterson posted a pair of sixth-place finishes in the 60-meter dash (8.46) and 200-meter dash (28.44), with her time of 8.39 seconds in the prelims of the 60-meter dash putting her in a tie for eighth on St. Olaf's all-time list in the event.
In addition to being part of the 4x400-meter relay, Schoustra and Jansen recorded fourth-place finishes in field events. Schoustra was fourth in the high jump (1.50m) and Jansen was fourth in the long jump (4.74m).
Senior
Benjamin Scott was the lone representative from the men's team and competed in a pair of events. He placed second in the 600-meter run (1:24.94) and fifth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.10).
Kammer added an eighth-place showing in the 200-meter dash (28.84) to her win in the 60-meter hurdles, while senior

Both teams return to action after Winter Break on Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Minnesota Open at the University of Minnesota.
