ST. PAUL, Minn. – The St. Olaf College men's and women's track and field teams competed at the St. Thomas Showcase on Friday night at Anderson Recreation and Sports Center.
Reuben Kosche (9:00.39) placed second in the 3000-meter run, while
William Anderson was third in the one-mile run with a time of 4:20.49.
Benjamin Scott picked up a fifth-place finish for the Oles in the 600-meter run, recording a time of 1:25.77, and another fifth-place finish came from
Thomas Lerdall (14:56.20) in the 5000-meter run. Lerdall's time in the 5000-meter run was a career-best.
Jena Hauch and
Lisa Fisher competed for the women's team, as Hauch (2:23.37) was seventh in the 800-meter run, and Fisher (18:23.02) finished in sixth in the 5000-meter run. Fisher's time of 18:23.02 was a career-best.
St. Olaf returns to action on Saturday Feb. 9, as the Oles cross the river for the Meet of Hearts hosted by Carleton.
