WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Senior
Stephen Peper of the St. Olaf College men's track and field team placed 11th in the high jump at the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at JDL Fast Track.
In his first appearance at the national indoor meet, Peper placed 11th in the field of 20 competitors by clearing 2.00 meters (6' 6 ¾") before going out at 2.03 meters (6' 8"). The senior cleared 2.00 meters on his second attempt after clearing the first two heights of 1.92 meters and 1.97 meters on his first tries.
Peper was competing in his second NCAA Championships event, previously finishing fourth outdoors to earn All-America honors outdoors in 2021.
St. Olaf begins its outdoor season by traveling to Decorah, Iowa for the Luther Invitational on Saturday, April 9 at 11 a.m.
