HASTINGS, Minn. – In its first tournament of the spring, the St. Olaf College men's golf team finished fourth in the five-team Bethel Spring Invitational this weekend at Emerald Greens Golf Course.
Senior
Casey Parker paced St. Olaf by tying for third in the field of 37 golfers with a two-day 145 (+1) after carding rounds of 72 (E) and 73 (+1). The second-round 72 matched Parker's second-lowest round of the season and the two rounds in the low 70s brought his season average to 73.3.
Sophomore
Parker Casey posted the second-best score of the weekend for the Oles with a two-day 158 (+14) that included a second-round 76 (+4) for his low round of the season. Casey finished the weekend tied for 17th in the tournament.
Sophomore
Harry Olander (161, +17) tied for 22nd, senior
Jack McNamara was 26th (165, +21), and senior
Cooper Lukenda took 27th (167, +23) to round out St. Olaf's top-five scores for the weekend.
The Oles compete at the Bobby Kroger Invite on Friday and Saturday, April 15-16 at Le Sueur Country Club.
