BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Sophomore Ryan Herbst and senior Isaac Schmidt of the St. Olaf College men's golf team both picked up all-conference honors in the 2025-26 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Men's Golf Awards, as announced on Monday afternoon.

Herbst and Schmidt were among 15 All-MIAC honorees and gave St. Olaf multiple all-conference selections for the first time since the 2010-11 season. Herbst earned automatic All-MIAC honors by tying for ninth at the MIAC Championships in the fall, while Schmidt was voted to the team by the conference's head coaches this spring.

Herbst was one of just two sophomores on the 15-member list after posting the MIAC's No. 8 scoring average (73.8) while posting six top-10 finishes and four top-five performances in 10 tournaments this year. Herbst's scoring average of 73.8 is the lowest by an Ole since at least 2009-10.

Schmidt, an Honorable Mention All-MIAC selection last season, ranked 10th in the conference with a scoring average of 74.0 in his senior season while logging four top-five finishes in nine events. Schmidt's scoring average ranked behind only Herbst's this season for the best by an Ole in the last 15 seasons.
