DES MOINES, Iowa – Junior
Logan Bocovich of the St. Olaf College men's track and field team posted the program's fourth-best time in the 10,000-meter run while competing at the 112th Drake Relays on Thursday night at Drake Stadium.
Competing in a field of runner from all three NCAA Divisions and the NAIA, Bocovich placed eighth with a time of 30:50.20 to move up three spots from seventh to fourth in St. Olaf's all-time list in the event. The junior was third among NCAA Division III finishers and crossed the line ahead of seven NCAA Division I competitors.
Bocovich's time ranks fifth-fastest in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season and was a 20-second PR ahead of his time of 31:10.16 from his fourth-place finish at the 2021 MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
