Stephen Peper of the St. Olaf College men's track and field team posted a season-best clearance of 2.00 meters in the high jump at the Drake Relays on Friday evening at Drake Stadium.
Competing in a meet with competitors from all three NCAA Divisions and the NAIA, Peper cleared the initial height of 2.00 meters (6' 6 ¾") on his second attempt before going out on 2.05 meters (6' 8 ¾") to finish in a tie for 22nd. The clearance ranks in the top 20 nationally and is tied for the best clearance in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season.
St. Olaf competes at the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational at Macalester in St. Paul on Saturday, April 30 starting at 9 a.m.
