ST. PAUL, Minn. – Senior Christine Albrecht won both the 1,000-meter run and one-mile run to highlight the St. Olaf College women's track and field team's fourth-place finish at the Vanessa Seljeskog Classic on Saturday at the Leonard Center on the campus of Macalester College.

Albrecht posted top-five times in program history and broke the facility record in both events for St. Olaf, which earned 105 points in the team standings. Bethel University finished atop the standings with 138 points, followed by Gustavus Adolphus College with 122 and Carleton College with 117.

In the 1,000-meter run, Albrecht was the first to cross the line with a facility-record time of 2:57.73, which ranks fourth in program history and is the top time in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season. The senior posted another facility record and top-five time in program history in the one-mile run (4:58.75), which ranks first in the MIAC and second in the country (converted to 4:55.83).

In addition to Albrecht's standout day, sophomore Jules Fromm ran the conference's second-fastest time this season in the 800-meter run, clocking in at 2:28.68 to finish as the runner-up.
