BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Seniors
Catherine Moore and
Selena Rodriguez of the St. Olaf College volleyball team were selected to the nine-member Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Volleyball All-Playoff Team, as announced on Monday afternoon.
Moore was named to the MIAC All-Playoff Team for the second-straight season, while Rodriguez did so for the first time. The duo helped St. Olaf to the championship match of the tournament for the second season in a row, with wins over Concordia-Moorhead and the College of Saint Benedict before a five-set loss to No. 18-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College in the title match.
In St. Olaf's three matches in the tournament, Moore tallied 53 kills, 12 digs, and eight total blocks, while hitting .280. Rodriguez recorded 78 digs, 13 assists, and seven aces over the three matches.
After receiving an at-large bid into the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship, St. Olaf will take on Washington University in St. Louis on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 11:30 a.m. at Cornell College's Small Athletic and Wellness Center.
