BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – First year Chloee Smith of the St. Olaf College women's basketball team picked up her second Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week accolade of the season on Monday afternoon.

Smith, who was previously honored by the conference office back on Dec. 4, averaged 12.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game for St. Olaf last week. The first year pulled down at least six rebounds in all three games and had games with three steals and three blocked shots during the week.

Through 16 games, Smith leads St. Olaf in field-goal percentage (.593), field goals made (67), rebounds (121), rebounds per game (7.6), and blocked shots (14) and ranks second in points (166), points per game (10.4), offensive rebounds (29), and steals (20).

The Oles host nationally-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m.
