LEXINGTON, Ky. – The St. Olaf College volleyball team collected the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the ninth consecutive season, as announced on Wednesday afternoon.

St. Olaf was among a record total of more than 1,400 collegiate and high school volleyball programs from across the country to earn the award, which is given to programs that maintain a year-long grade-point average (GPA) of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale, after compiling a team GPA of 3.66 during the 2023-24 academic year.

In addition to the AVCA Team Academic Award, St. Olaf had 12 student-athletes named to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Academic All-Conference Team and four student-athletes earn College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors in its final season under Emily Foster.
