BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – First year
Claire Stein was named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the year, while numerous members of the St. Olaf College women's track and field team collected all-conference and honorable mention honors in the 2026 MIAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Awards.
Stein became St. Olaf's first Rookie of the Year in the four-year history of the award after winning conference titles in the heptathlon (4,604) and 400-meter hurdles (1:01.45). She was also the conference runner-up in the 100-meter hurdles (14.77) and earned honorable mention honors in the long jump with a fifth-place finish (5.50m).
In addition to Stein's Rookie of the Year accolade, St. Olaf had nine individual All-MIAC performances and one All-MIAC relay, plus nine individual and two relay honorable mention showings.
