NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Twelve members of the St. Olaf College men's and women's cross country and track and field teams were honored on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District ® Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, as announced on Tuesday.
Rising seniors
Max Albertson and
Jesse Olson as well as recent graduates
Parker Max,
Cullen Moore,
Lance Nemecek, and
Kevin Turlington represented the St. Olaf men's teams, while rising juniors
Izzi Jaeckle and
Abi Lindquist, rising senior
Otelia Lighthill, and recent graduates
Ashlyn Jore,
Megan Timmerman, and
Isabel Wyatt did so for the women's teams. The Academic All-District ®Teams honor the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and academically.
To be eligible for the accolade, student-athletes must hold a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 and be at least a sophomore athletically and academically. In track and field/cross country, eligible nominees must have finished in the top 50 at their cross country regional or be ranked in the top 50 in the region in at least one individual event in the indoor or outdoor season.
Wyatt and Turlington both earned their third Academic All-District ® accolades in a row, while Albertson, Jore, and Nemecek collected their second. Jaeckle, Lighthill, Lindquist, Max, Moore, Olson, and Timmerman were honored for the first times in the respective careers.
Albertson, Turlington, and Wyatt were also selected as CSC Academic All-America ® finalists. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America ® honorees will be announced on July 14 (men) and July 15 (women).
