NEW ORLEANS, La. – Senior
Kevin Turlington of the No. 18-ranked St. Olaf College men's cross country team was officially honored as an All-American by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday.
Turlington collected his second consecutive All-America accolade by placing 12th at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Spartanburg, S.C. The top-40 finishers in the national meet were awarded All-America honors.
After placing 23rd a year ago, Turlington improved to 12th this year for the second-highest national finish by an Ole since 2015. His showing this year was the 34th All-America accolade in program history for St. Olaf and made Turlington the ninth Ole to earn multiple All-America accolades in men's cross country.
