GREENWOOD, Ind. – St. Olaf College women's cross country and track and field standout
Isabel Wyatt '26 repeated as a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American, as the 2025-26 Academic All-America ® teams were announced on Wednesday by the organization.
After graduating in May with a 3.99 cumulative grade-point average as a quantitative economics major, Wyatt earned her second consecutive Third Team Academic All-America ® accolade and was the lone Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) student-athlete among the 45 honorees. Wyatt is the seventh St. Olaf student-athlete to be a two-time CSC Academic All-American and is one of two Oles to be honored in women's cross country/track and field along with Megan (Daymont) Thomas in 2002 and 2003.
Wyatt's accolade gave St. Olaf four Academic All-America ® honorees for the 2025-26 academic year, which is the highest total in school history. St. Olaf has now had 20 student-athletes earn a total of 27 Academic All-America ® accolades, with 19 of the 27 honors coming since 2018-19.
The Academic All-America ® teams, which honor the top student-athletes in the country for their academic and athletic accomplishments, were voted on by CSC members from a pool of Academic All-District ® honorees. To qualify for the two accolades, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, and meet sport-specific criteria. For track and field and cross country, student-athletes must have finished in the top 50 at their cross country regional or be ranked in the top 50 in the region in an individual event (indoor or outdoor).
In her senior season, Wyatt was a national qualifier in the indoor 800-meter run and finished 20th at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships. She was the MIAC indoor champion in the event and was the runner-up in the 1,000-meter run before adding another All-MIAC accolade with a runner-up finish in the outdoor 800-meter run. In cross country, she was an Honorable Mention All-MIAC honoree by placing 20th at the conference meet before running at regionals and nationals.
Over the course of her track career, Wyatt was a four-time MIAC individual champion, a 2025 U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Second Team All-American in the indoor 800-meter run (9th place), the 2024-25 MIAC Women's Indoor Co-Track Athlete of the Year, and set three school records and one MIAC record. She was also an All-MIAC and All-Region honoree in cross country in 2024.
In addition to her back-to-back CSC Academic All-America ® honors, Wyatt was a three-time CSC Academic All-District ® selection, a three-time USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete, a six-time Academic All-MIAC honoree, and made the Dean's List in each of her eight semesters. She was also the 2025-26 female recipient of St. Olaf's Dave Hauck Award, in recognition of her academic achievement, athletic excellence, and community service, and was St. Olaf's 2024-25 Co-Female Athlete of the Year.
