Men's cross country up two spots, women hold firm in USTFCCCA national polls

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The St. Olaf College men's cross country team moved up two spots and the women's team held steady in this week's NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country National Coaches' Polls, as announced on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The St. Olaf men rose two spots to No. 18 for its highest ranking in since week 3 after a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Division III North Region Championships on Saturday, while the women's team remained at No. 29 this week after its fourth-place showing at the regional. The Ole men have now been ranked in 67 consecutive USTFCCCA national polls, while the women have been ranked in 49 in a row.

Both St. Olaf teams will close out their seasons at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 22 at Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, S.C. The men's 8K will start at 9 a.m. CST, followed by the women's 6K at 10 a.m. CST.
