NEW ORLEANS, La. – The St. Olaf College men's and women's cross country teams both received U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors while eight Oles were honored individually, as announced on Thursday.
Head coach
Erica Maker's women's program earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors after compiling a 3.70 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) through the fall semester. The Oles have been recognized as an All-Academic team each year in the award's archives (since 2005-06) and the 3.70 GPA was St. Olaf's second highest over that period.
Head coach
Brian Power's men's program posted a cumulative GPA of 3.58 to collect All-Academic honors for the 20th time in the last 21 seasons. The Oles' 3.58 GPA is the program's highest during that stretch.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.

Louisa Lamarre, sophomore
Abi Lindquist, senior
Grace Moeller, and senior
Lauren Walda all picked up All-Academic Athlete honors for the women, while senior
Eli Doran, sophomore
Cooper Gundersen, senior
Gael Manzur Strandlund, and senior
Kevin Turlington did so for the men. Walda landed her fourth consecutive All-Academic Athlete accolade, Moeller and Turlington earned their third, and Manzur Strandlund got his second, while the other four Oles were first-time honorees.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top 25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
