BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Senior
Emily Johnson of the St. Olaf College women's soccer team claimed her second consecutive Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week accolade on Monday.
Johnson repeated as the MIAC Offensive Player of the Week after tallying a goal and an assist in each of St. Olaf's two games last week. The senior scored the opening goal and added an assist late in a 3-3 tie at Luther College on Wednesday before having a hand in both of St. Olaf's goals in a 2-2 tie at UW-Platteville on Saturday.
The Oles will kick off MIAC play on Wednesday, Sept. 16 with a 4 p.m. start at Gustavus Adolphus College.
