ST. PAUL, Minn. - Keith Ketola won the mile in 4:18.94 and William Anderson first in the 3000 to lead the St. Olaf men's track and field team on Friday night at the St. Thomas Showcase.

Anderson (8:44.28) edged teammate Liban Jama (8:45.03), who was second in the event. Eric Bakken was 10th and Justin Furcich 11th in the race.

Ketola was one of three Oles in the top 15 in the race. Sean Lonergan was fourth (4:21.05) and Owen Wright 15th (4:32.32) in the 46-runner field.

Nathan Kurtz-Enko was the Oles' leader in field events, finishing seventh in the shot put with a 14.51 throw.
