ST. PAUL, Minn. – The St. Olaf College men's track and field team won six events on its way to a first-place team finish at the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational on Saturday at Macalester Stadium.
Six different student-athletes won an event for St. Olaf, which collected 193 points in the team standings to finish well ahead of second-place St. Scholastica (118 pts.) in the team standings. The Oles won three events on the track and claimed three more first-place performances in field events.
Senior
Aengus White recorded the second-best throw in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season in the discus throw, winning the event with a mark of 46.54 meters (152' 8") on his sixth and final attempt. The performance moved White from four spots from eighth to fourth on St. Olaf's all-time list in the event.

Cade Feist and junior
Andrew Mollison added a 1-2 finish in the shot put, with Feist winning the event with a throw of 13.83 meters (45' 4 ½") on his last throw. Mollison was not far behind in second with a mark of 13.75 meters (45' 1 ½") on his final attempt.
First year
Dylan Arnold – the MIAC's leader in the event – won the pole vault by clearing 4.35 meters (14' 3 ¼") on his first attempt before going out on 4.50 meters.
In the 110-meter hurdles, junior
Lucas Kramarczuk and sophomore
Matthew Nissen were the top-two finishers, as Kramarczuk won the event in 14.90 seconds. Nissen was the second-place finisher in 16.37 seconds.
Sophomore
Gabe Estrada led an all-Ole field in the 3,000-meter steeplechase by winning the event in 9:56.07, finishing just ahead of senior
Anders Narum (9:56.97) and sophomore
Anders Cote (9:57.25). First year
Jakob Baatrup-Sabo was the top finisher in the 1,500-meter run in 4:07.48.
St. Olaf hosts the Rolex Classic on Tuesday, May 3 at 4 p.m. at Manitou Track.
