MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Fifth-year senior running back Jordan Embry of the St. Olaf College football team was named to the D3football.com 2023 All-Region 6 First Team for the second season in a row, as announced on Wednesday.

Wednesday's announcement made Embry just the second two-time D3football.com All-Region honoree in program history, joining Eric Yuen '08, who was named to the second team as a guard in both 2006 and 2007. Embry's first-team accolade was the seventh for St. Olaf in the 19th season that D3football.com has selected all-region teams.

Embry, who was one of two running backs on the first team, carried the ball 245 times for 1,167 yards and 12 touchdowns in nine games for St. Olaf this fall while averaging 129.7 rushing yards per game. The fifth-year senior has over 115 rushing yards in eight of the nine games he played in, including five games with at least 140. Embry ranked 10th in NCAA Division III in rushing yards per game and, despite missing one game, was 18th in rushing yards. He also scored at least one touchdown in 8-of-9 games, including four games with at least two touchdowns.

The banner season brought an end to a standout career that saw Embry earn three All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) accolades while rushing 769 times for 3,693 yards and 31 touchdowns. Those totals all ranked in the top three in program history, as Embry ended his career as the program's all-time leader in carries while sitting second in rushing yards and third in rushing touchdowns. On a single-season level, Embry's totals this fall ranked tied for second in carries, fourth in rushing yards per game, fifth in rushing yards, and tied for eighth in rushing touchdowns.
