BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Six members of the St. Olaf College football team were honored I the 2025 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Football Awards, as announced on Monday afternoon.

Ethan Hess was St. Olaf's lone All-MIAC honoree, while sophomore

Johnathan Hartwig, sophomore
Josh Kerber, sophomore
Alec Mahoney, and senior
Will Skemp collected Honorable Mention All-MIAC honors.
Hess became St. Olaf's first All-MIAC kicker since 2012 after leading the conference in field goals made (11) and attempted (14) while ranking fourth among MIAC kickers in points (55). The sophomore was perfect (22-for-22) on PATs against conference foes during a season where he set St. Olaf's single-season record with 14 made field goals.
A 2024 All-MIAC selection, Hartwig picked up his second consecutive postseason accolade after helping St. Olaf rush for an average of 168.3 yards per game in conference play, the third-highest average in the MIAC. The senior was part of an offensive line that allowed just six sacks all season.
Skemp was an honorable-mention selection after finishing fourth in the MIAC in receiving yards per game (87.8) and sixth in receptions per game (6.1) in conference contests. The senior was also in the top 15 in the conference in yards per reception (15.1), receiving yards (527), receptions (35), and receiving touchdowns (4).
Kerber recorded 32 total tackles – 18 solo – to go with 2.0 tackles for a loss, one sack, one interception, three blocked kicks, and one fumble recovery in nine conference games.
Mahoney led St. Olaf with 43 tackles – 29 solo – in MIAC play while compiling one interception, one fumble recovery, one forced fumble, and one blocked kick.
Floden finished second in the MIAC in yards per punt (39.6) and led the conference with seven punts of 50+ yards in MIAC play. The sophomore also had just two touchbacks and 12 punts downed inside the 20-yard line.
