WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. – Juniors
Sydney Monge and
Bergen Senf were both in the top 15 to help the St. Olaf College women's golf team to seventh place at the weather-shortened Rumble at the Ridge on Sunday at Oneka Ridge Golf Course.
After Saturday' first round was canceled due to inclement weather, Monge shot a 76 (+4) to tie for 10th and Senf carded a 77 (+5) to tie for 12th to lead the way for St. Olaf. The Oles finished seventh in the 11-team standings with a team total of 329 (+41), which was tied for the team's second-lowest round of the season.
Despite playing in chilly conditions, neither Monge or Senf carded anything worse than a bogey in their rounds, as Monge recorded a pair of birdies and Senf had one of her own. Sophomores
Kadyn Triebenbach and
Kate Young were part of a tie for 44th place after shooting rounds of 88 (+16).
St. Olaf wraps up its spring by co-hosting the St. Olaf-Carleton Spring Invite on Saturday and Sunday, April 29-30 at Willingers Golf Club.
