NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The No. 14-ranked St. Olaf College women's cross country team had all five of its scorers in the all-region spots while placing second at the NCAA Division III North Region Championships on Saturday at the Bill Huyck Championship Course.

Isabel Wyatt were all in the top-35 finishers to claim all-region honors and give St. Olaf the runner-up finish in the 31-team field. The Oles compiled a team score of 99 points to finish 36 behind No. 11-ranked UW-La Crosse and 15 ahead of No. 18-ranked Carleton College.
Walda and Bode both finished in the top five to lead the way for St. Olaf, with Walda placing fourth (22:07.8) and Bode fifth (22:13.1). The finishes were the highest regional placements for both runners, as Walda landed her third all-region accolade and Bode her second.
Moeller improved 15 spots from a year ago with a 26th-place performance (26:31.0) to earn her first all-region honor, while Abernethy repeated as an all-region honoree in 30th (22:59.6). Competing in her first regional meet, Wyatt took 34th (23:06.8) to slide just inside the all-region cutoff.

Ella Landis crossed the line in 76th (24:05.8).
The runner-up essentially locked up a spot at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships for St. Olaf. The field for the national meet, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. at LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Ind., will be announced on Sunday, Nov. 17 via press release on NCAA.com.
