BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Junior Paige Steenblock of the St. Olaf College women's swimming and diving team was chosen as the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week, as announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Steenblock landed the first MIAC Athlete of the Week accolade of her career after winning all three of her individual events at the Roger Ahlman Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The junior is the second Ole to be named the MIAC Women's Swimmer of the Week this season, joining sophomore Katie Homme from Nov. 19.

At Macalester, Steenblock posted the MIAC's top times this season in the 200-yard individual medley (2:09.51) and the 400-yard individual medley (4:37.21), while clocking in with the conference's third-fastest time in the 200-yard butterfly (2:11.33).

After traveling to the International Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. for its annual training trip, St. Olaf will return to action by hosting Hamline University in a MIAC dual on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 11 a.m.
