NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The St. Olaf College men's hockey team received votes in this week's USCHO.com Division III Men's Ice Hockey Poll, as released on Monday afternoon.
After a season-opening split against then-fifth-ranked St. Norbert College, St. Olaf (1-1-0) received two points in the first balloting of the regular season. After dropping the series opener 3-0 on Friday night, the Oles claimed a 5-4 overtime victory on Saturday for their first win over the Green Knights since 1992 to give first-year head coach
Tyler Lindstrom his first victory as head coach.
St. Olaf will host UW-Eau Claire in its home opener at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7 before welcoming No. 12-ranked UW-Superior to St. Olaf Ice Arena for a 7 p.m. puck drop on Senior Night on Saturday, Nov. 8.
