NEW ORLEANS, La. – The St. Olaf College men's and women's cross country teams had limited movement in this week's NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country National Coaches' Polls, as released on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
On the back of winning its fourth consecutive Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) team title, the St. Olaf men moved up one spot to No. 20 this week. The Ole women remained at No. 29 following their runner-up finish at the MIAC Championships on Saturday.
This week marked the 66th poll in a row in the national rankings for head coach
Brian Power's men's program and the 48th in a row for head coach
Erica Maker's program.
The Oles will race at the NCAA Division III North Region Championships in Colfax, Wis. on Saturday, Nov. 15. The team's runners who will not race at the regional will conclude their seasons at home on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. in the AECMR 5K (men) and Cannon River Closer 5K (women).
