BEND, Ore. – The St. Olaf College women's Nordic skiing team recorded its third consecutive first-place finish and the men's team was fourth in the 15K Classic at the U.S. Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) National Championships on Friday at Mt. Bachelor.
For the 12th time in the last 14 events at the USCSA National Championships, the St. Olaf women topped the team standings, as the Oles compiled a 1-3-4-5-7 finish led by a seventh USCSA individual title from senior
Lily Hubanks. First years
Paavo Rova and
Daniel Gladkov both finished in the top eight to lead three All-America performances from the Ole men, who were fourth for their highest finish in the event since 2022.
The women's team's total of eight points gave the Oles a 24-point margin of victory ahead of the University of Wyoming. This year marked St. Olaf's fourth consecutive top-two finish in the 15-kilometer event at the USCSA National Championships.
Hubanks secured her second individual title of the week with a first-place time of 57:20.2 to finish nearly two minutes ahead of Jayna Boonstra of Colorado Mesa University. The senior has earned All-America honors in all 12 of the individual events she has competed in at the USCSA National Championships in her career.

Lizzy Weider (15th, 1:03:06.1) all collected All-America honors as well by finishing in the top 15. The All-America accolades were the third in as many events this year for Kam-Magruder, Cope-Schaeffer, Ward, and Fuhrmann, while Weider picked up her second.
Rova again led the way for the St. Olaf men by placing sixth (50:13.5), while Gladkov was right behind in seventh (51:12.6) to give the duo their third All-America awards of the week. Junior
Tait Myers secured the final All-America spot in 15th (53:06.4), as the Oles tied with Paul Smith's College in the standings but finished fourth due to a tiebreaker.
The USCSA National Championships will conclude with the Freestyle Team Sprint on Saturday, March 15.
