LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – Junior Amae Kam-Magruder and sophomore Daniel Gladkov of the St. Olaf College men's and women's Nordic skiing teams competed at the 2026 U.S. Cross Country National Championships last week at Mt. Van Hoevenberg.

Kam-Magruder and Gladkov represented St. Olaf in the four-discipline, week-long event that included the top cross-country skiers in the country held Sunday through Friday.

Kam-Magruder's top finish of the week was a 60th-place performance in the 20K Freestyle on Thursday with a time of 1:03:23.4. Earlier in the week, she was 150th in the 10K Classic (34:59.1) and 143rd in the Freestyle Sprint (3:38.23) before concluding the week 134th in the Classic Sprint (4:10.78).

Gladkov was 50th (27:53.9) in the 10K Freestyle Junior B on Thursday after placing 328th (33:08.2) in the 10K Classic and 226th (3:02.52) in the Freestyle Sprint. The sophomore did not race in Friday's Classic Sprint.

St. Olaf will head to the Ariens Nordic CCSA Invite on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 24-25 at Ariens Nordic Center in Brillion, Wis.
