HUGO, Minn. – The St. Olaf College women's golf team finished seventh of nine teams at the Bethel University Rumble at the Ridge on Saturday at Oneka Ridge Golf Course.
Led by a 20th-place finish from sophomore
Solveig Senf, St. Olaf was seventh with a team score of 349 (+61), finishing six shots ahead of UW-Superior in the 18-hole tournament. Senf and senior
Kadyn Triebenbach had a pair of birdies on the day.
Senf posted the Oles' low round of the day with an 83 (+11) that was highlighted by birdies on the par-four second and 12th holes to tie for 20th. Sophomore
Marit Lyle was one shot back of Senf in a tie for 23rd with an 84 (+12).
Competing as an individual, senior
Kate Young tied for 37th with an 89 (+17), followed by first year
Anneliese Carlson, sophomore
Ella Wright, and Triebenbach, who were all tied for 42nd with rounds of 91 (+19).
St. Olaf will wrap up its season by co-hosting the St. Olaf/Carleton Invite on Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27 at Willingers Golf Course.
